Hannah Fusco is a Chicago-based oboist, English hornist, and music educator. She actively performs with ensembles throughout the Midwest, including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Elgin Symphony Orchestra, Illinois Symphony Orchestra, and the Civic Orchestra of Chicago.
Originally from New Jersey, Hannah earned bachelor’s degrees in Music Education and Oboe Performance with honors from Rutgers University, under the mentorship of Andrew Adelson. She subsequently completed postgraduate studies at Roosevelt University studying with Scott Hostetler and later continued her professional studies with Lora Schaefer. Hannah additionally holds a Master of Music Education degree, earned with honors, from Boston University. Her additional training includes the Ravinia Music Festival, Kent Blossom Music Festival, Eastern Music Festival, and the John Mack Oboe Camp. She also supports the greater oboe community through her work with Oboe Chicago Inc. and as the founder of Hannah’s Reeds, providing dependable, handcrafted oboe reeds and reed-making supplies.
As a music educator, Hannah is passionate about fostering an encouraging and inclusive environment where students of all ages and abilities can develop as confident, independent musicians. Drawing on her background in music education and mental health advocacy, she emphasizes individualized instruction that supports both musical and personal growth. 
Outside of music, Hannah works as a Studio Experience Manager at Half Moon Yoga in downtown Chicago. She enjoys gardening, reading, cooking, crafting, practicing yoga, and spending time with her two cats, Tiger and Mr. Mango.
